The HZS Powered Column Speaker combines a sleek, slim column form factor with an integrated Class D amplifier and DSP engine to deliver wide, even horizontal coverage with tight vertical dispersion – ideal for speech intelligibility in reverberant spaces.

Designed for houses of worship, conference rooms, hotel ballrooms, retail spaces and outdoor plazas, this self-powered column offers plug-and-play simplicity without sacrificing the acoustic precision demanded by professional system integrators. Multiple units can be daisy-chained for extended coverage zones.

Recommended Configuration

For large halls: deploy two columns symmetrically at 3-5 m height, angled +/-15 degrees toward audience. Daisy-chain via XLR loop-through for extended zones. Use built-in DSP high-pass filter at 100 Hz and pair with HZS subwoofer for full-range reinforcement. Adjust internal DSP preset to "Speech" for maximum intelligibility in reverberant environments.
